Breast Cancer in People Over the Age of 70

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month! Join Dr. Christina Wolchok on October 9th from 9:30 am – 10:30 am at the New Milford Senior Center for a program on breast cancer in people over the age of 70.
Description: Many people wonder when they should stop screenings for breast cancer. Dr. Wolchok will talk about screenings in women over age 70 and what treatment options are available if breast cancer is found. She will also talk about how to maintain a healthy, active and independent life.

Dr. Christina Wolchok is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. She has dedicated her practice to treating patients with breast cancer and benign breast disease. Additionally, she treats high-risk patient populations with particular interest in BRCA1 and BRCA2 genetic mutations.
