HVHD COVID-19 Report

Housatonic Valley Health District is committed to providing weekly in-depth COVID-19 reports, which are published every Friday.

Update from Lisa Morrissey, Director of Health

We are happy to announce that HVHD is now reporting data for the Town of Sharon as part of a grant from the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health grant!

On June 19, 2022, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) ACIP recommended COVID-19 vaccines for children ages 6 months to 5 years. Federal regulators now have authorized the Moderna vaccine for children ages 6 months through 5 years, and the Pfizer vaccine for children ages 6 months through 4 years. Click here to read more about the CDC’s COVID-19 recommendations for children.

Visit www.hvhd.us/covid-19/vaccinations/ to find a vaccine clinic appointment for ages 6 months – 5 years.
